Hi, I'm Laura!
I’m the Creator of Little Bird Creative. I’m passionate about graphic design, anything digital, and helping businesses show off the best version of themselves so they can grow. Along with creating beautiful branding and print design, my background in social media enables me to help businesses discover the wonderful world of digital through creation, design, and everything in between.
After graduating from Wintec with a Bachelor of Media Arts (Visual) in 2011, I dreamed of starting my own Graphic Design business. Instead, I worked in various Marketing and Graphic Design positions while freelancing on the side for 10 years.
During my time as an Account Manager at one of Hamilton’s leading Social Media Agencies, I noticed the trending shift towards digital and social media occurring. I loved building relationships and the creative side of account management but wanted to bring in my Graphic Design skills to add my own touch.
At the start of 2020, I felt like the timing was right to create Little Bird Creative. If I had envisioned a worldwide pandemic, I probably wouldn't have taken the leap! But I am so glad I did take the leap, as I have had the opportunity to support other amazing and talented businesses with graphic design and digital marketing.

Why Little Bird?
I was always sharing helpful tips or information about updates on social media platforms with my friends and colleagues. They would ask, “Where did you hear that from?” And I was always reminded of the saying, “A little bird told me…”
I also always knew that I wanted to keep my Freelance Graphic Design business small and humble as building relationships is really important to me. We’re not here to compete with the agencies. Staying small, I am able to remain affordable, work hand-in-hand with my clients, and grow alongside them.
